The slime of the Helix Aspersa Müller (little grey) has always been used for skin care by the "Mapuche" Amerindians who are communities living in the center south of Chile and Argentina.
The slime (or mucus) of this snail has several virtues, including, what is unique in the world, the ability to regenerate and repair its shell alone.
In 1980, Dr. Fernando Bascunan Ygualt, son of a family of Chilean snail breeders for the French gastronomic market, noticed that his employees had soft skin and that their wounds healed more quickly.
Numerous studies have confirmed that snail slime is indeed very rich in active ingredients and provides many benefits for the skin.
